Vincenza Rizzo Dobrowolski, born at the family home on Salinas St., passed away on May 5, 2017.   She was a member of the Christopher Columbus Ladies Auxiliary, San Francesco di Paola Altar and Rosary Society, and San Francesco di Paola Catholic Church.  She was very proud of her Italian heritage and was an excellent cook and baker.  Vee was a loving and devoted wife, sister, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.  Her family was her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents Elvira and Mike Rizzo, and her loving husband, Paul Dobrowolski. She is survived by her son, Michael and daughter-in-law Joyce Ann Dobrowolski; daughter, Joyce Elaine and son-in-law, Julius Germano; grandchildren: Michelle Germano, Paul Julius Germano, Deanna Dobrowolski, Michael John Dobrowolski and wife Kelly, Susanne Dobrowolski Klausner and husband Jeff; great-grandsons, Luke and Andrew Dobrowolski.  She is also survived by her sisters, Rita Ponzio and Gilda Mazzurana and husband Eugene; numerous nieces and nephews.

The Dobrowolski family would like to extend a heartfelt appreciation to our dearest friend, Sister Barbara Lynn Hyzak, CDP for her love, support and nursing expertise in ministering to Vee. We would also like to thank the staff and residents of the Meadows at Morningside for their kindness and professionalism.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at 6:00 P.M. at San Francesco di Paola Catholic Church, 205 Piazza Italia, with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M.

Mass of the Resurrection will be celebrated on Wednesday, May 10, 2017 at 10:00 A.M. at San Francesco di Paola Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No.2.

Pallbearers will be: Paul Germano, Michael John Dobrowolski, Louis Garcia, John Phillip Mazzurana, Carl Ponzio, Jr., and Jeff Klausner.
