Vincent V. Sifuentes Jr., born January 27, 1933, went to be with the Lord on August 9, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Mercy Sifuentes; children, Robert Sifuentes (Susan), Nancy Davenport (Ed), raised 2 children, Stephany Gonzalez (David) and Jason Bernal (Tarilyn), 2 stepchildren, Leticia Moncada (Pedro) and Jesse Rodriguez (Nidia); 4 siblings in California; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Mr. Sifuentes served in the Army during WWII, and reitred from the Postal Service in 1989 after 33 years of service. He was a Shop Steward and Elected Trustee, along with numerous other posistions, in the NALC Alamo 421, badge #335. Visitation will begin on Wednesday, August 13, at 5:00 PM with the Rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, August 14, at 9:30 A.M. at St. Dominic's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
