Victor Resendez Jr, 74, born February 18, 1944, died on May 9th, 2018.  He graduated from Holy Cross HS in 1962 (Class Valedictorian) and St. Mary's University in 1966 (B.S., Physics).  He served in the US Army as a Major and later taught science and math at Holy Cross HS, Roosevelt HS, Nimitz MS, Cole HS and SASIC.

He was predeceased by his father, Victor Resendez Sr. and his brother, Ramon Resendez.  He is survived by his mother Enriqueta C. Resendez, his brother Lorenzo Resendez, wife Mary Resendez, daughters Jennifer M. Resendez, Kristina Resendez Heilman, grandsons Holden and Graham Heilman, his sons-in-law Scott Wilson and Steven Heilman.

Victor enjoyed travelling to see friends and family; his farewell quote typically was "second star to the right and straight on till morning."

Burial will follow at
Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery,
1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd .
with military honors.
