Vicky T. Perez passed April 9, 2015. She was born in Munich, Germany December 4, 1929. She was preceded in death by her sister, Lotte Tilgner; daughter, Charlotte Perez; and granddaughter, Nerissa Villarreal. She is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Baldemar Perez, Sr.; her son, Baldemar Perez, Jr.; daughters and son-in-laws, Christina and Gary Tumlinson, Shirley and Jack Donaldson, Victoria and Joseph Towers; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; as well as countless beloved extended family and friends. Vicky and Balde loved to travel and enjoyed many trips across the U.S., Mexico, Europe, Canada, and more. Vicky survived being born at hardly 3 lbs. Living in the middle of WWII bombing and crossing the ocean 8 months pregnant to make a new home as a war bride in Weslaco, Texas. She was joined with her new family the Perez's who she grew to love as her own and they her as well. Sadly, as strong as our "Mimi" was she was no match for the vicious drug Amiodarone, which took her from us after 2 months of suffering. We choose to remember her as she was before, beautiful, spiritied, and amazing. FUNERAL SERVICES Visitation will begin on Sunday, April 19, at 4:00 P.M, with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Service will be offered on Monday, April 20, at 9:30 A.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Interment will follow in Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery.
