Tiodolinda (Linda) Gallardo, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, aunt and friend passed away on Friday, December 1, 2023, surrounded by devoted family and friends.
Born on November 13, 1925 in Campbellton, TX to Mauricia G. and Leonardo Escobedo. Linda was a hard worker and loved to socialize with everyone whom she was in the presence of. She had a passion for making cakes, which she did for many years. She loved being surrounded by family and listening to mariachis, dancing, and drinking her beloved Crown Royal.
She was always passionate about the upkeep of her lawn, insisting that it be maintained to her expectations at all times. She was never afraid to speak her mind and stand up for what she knew was right.
She will be remembered for her numerous stories, laughter, and great sense of humor. Linda's humor was one trait that could never go unnoticed because when you least expected it, she would crack a joke about you or someone else. Even until the end she was still entertaining all of us and making sure everyone had a smile on their face. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and all who knew her.
Tiodolinda's legacy will be carried on by her sister Martarita De La Cerda; daughter Socorro G. Valdillez (Henry), Jessie Rodriguez (Pinky); grandchildren Patricia, John Michael, Robert, Daniel; great grandchildren Bonnie (Joe), Ramiro (Belinda), Angelina (Manuel), Joshua, Johnnie, Maddie, Joseph, Jacob, Ava, Jayden, Joseph V., Daniel Jr, Mason and many devoted family members. She is preceded in death by her parents and siblings, husband Johnny Gallardo, son Ramiro Garza (Betty) and grandson Rodeny, Austin (Veronica) and Joseph.
