Tillie Hernandez Calderon, born September 7, 1931, ascended to heaven to be with the Lord on April 1, 2014. She worked over 50 years with Stanley Home Products. She also enjoyed working as a substitute teacher for the SAISD. She was a loyal church goer and always spread the word of God to others. Tillie leaves a world of good memories to all who knew her. She was preceded in death by her husband Pete Calderon and parents Thomas and Cruz Hernandez. Tillie was a wonderful wife and devoted mother and grandmother. She is survived by her daughters Sonya Calderon, Cynthia Trevino (Tony) and Peggy Rodriguez (Richard) and 6 grandchildren: Peter, Eric, Thomas and Juliet Trevino and Alex and Anthony Rodriguez. Visitation will begin Sunday at 4:00 P.M. at St. Henry's Catholic Church with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be offered Monday at 10:00 A.M. at St. Henry's Catholic Church. Interment will follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No.2.
