The Lord called home Teresa Navarro on June 15, 2016. She was born December 20, 1925, daughter of the late Jose and Julia Navarro. She was born at her parents home on Navidad Street in San Antonio, Texas where she was always surrounded by family and friends.

Teresa was a proud graduate of Ursuline Academy class of 1943. She graduated from Our Lady of the Lake College in 1947 with a teaching degree. She spent 43 years as an educator. Her teaching career began at St. Peter's Catholic School in Alamo Heights. She was proud to have spent 28 years at Navarro Elementary and when the school closed she was assigned to Burnet Elementary where she retired in 1986. Teresa was a long time member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church which she joined when the doors opened.

She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral Services for Teresa will be held at Holy Cross Cemetery Chapel in San Antonio on Tuesday, June 21st. Rosary at 9:30 and a service following the rosary.
