On December 7th, 2023, Sylvia Flores White passed from this world at the age of 83. Born March 5th, 1940, she was a proud San Antonian and enthusiastic Spurs fan. Daughter of Cruz and Elvira Flores she was raised by her adoptive mother Rosa Flores and is survived by her adoring children Patricia and Alan, his wife Suzie and beloved granddaughter Sofia.  She is also survived by her dedicated siblings, Hilaria, Raul and Amelia, and her loving niece Marisa Ramirez.

Sylvia's vibrant smile lit a bright loving light in the lives of those around her. Raised on Goodwin Street, she worked as a librarian for St. Mary's University and late in life prospered as a popular real estate agent due to her experience buying and selling houses throughout her adventurous life as an expatriate. She lived abroad in Venezuela, South America for a decade and traveled voraciously including trips to Columbia, Panama, Argentina, and Europe. She loved life and doted on the extended family's children. Sylvia was the mom everyone wished they had. Those who love her feel blessed to have been recipients of her brilliant smile, infectious laugh, and compassion. She will shine forever in our hearts.
