Susana "Susie" Tello Rodriguez, peacefully passed away and entered the loving arms of our Lord on January 25, 2022, at the age of 94.  She was born on May 24, 1927 in San Antonio, Texas to Ignacio & Anita Tello.  Susie attended Sidney Lanier High School where she graduated Valedictorian and met her high school sweetheart, Rudolph "Rudy" T. Rodriguez, R.Ph., who became her husband of 69 years.

Susie was Rudy's partner in their family business, Mission Pharmacy, for almost 60 years.  She loved Big Band music, dancing with Rudy, and watching the San Antonio Spurs.  Susie belonged to a Bunco club for over 50 years and was a Girl Scout Leader for her three daughters, founding member of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church, Altar Society and actively involved with the St. Vincent DePaul Ministry.  Susie also loved to travel and had visited Western Europe, South America, the Caribbean and across the US with her family.

Susana was preceded in death by her husband and two daughters, Melinda Ann Rodriguez and Yvonne Marie Prot.

She is survived by her three children David R. Rodriguez and his three children with Maureen:  Billy, Brant & Benett. Also, Steven Rodriguez and his two children with Gina Reese:  Stephanie & Christina.  Also, Deanna Andes (John Andes) with their four children:  Catherine, John Jr., Patrick & Michael. Also, Yvonne Prot's (Alain Prot) daughters: Dr. Emilie Prot & Claire Prot .  Susie had one great granddaughter, (Emersyn) and two sisters Guadalupe Tamayo and late husband (Albert), Dominga Garcia  (Tony).  Three brothers: Johnny Tello, Jesse Tello (Bertha), Julian Tello  (Grace).

Services will be held at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church

San Antonio, TX 78216

Family will receive friends from 9:30am-10am

with a Rosary to be recited at 10:00 am and Funeral Mass to be offered at 10:30am

Interment will follow at San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No.2
