Sister Marcella Marie Frazier, CDP (94) entered eternal life on September 11, 2018. She was born on June 24, 1924 in Goliad, Texas to William and Louise (Bettge) Frazier. She was the middle child of five.  She professed first vows on June 22, 1943.

Sister Marcella Marie cherished the life lessons learned on her family's farm. These lessons led her to treat all of God's children as equally deserving of the same respect and care.  Over a span of 49 years, she served in the Catholic school education system in Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana and Arkansas, as a teacher, principal and librarian. Prior to retirement, her missionary work of serving the poor took place in Kentucky and Louisiana.

FUNERAL SERVICES

The Rosary is Sunday, September 16, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. and the Wake is at 6:30 p.m. A Mass of Resurrection will be Monday, September 17, at 11:00 a.m. All services will be in Annunciation Chapel at Our Lady of the Lake Convent Center.
