Sr. Diana Filipas, FMA, the third of three children in the family, a native of San Francisco, CA, died peacefully at the age of 80, February 12, 2021 at the Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, TX.

After her religious profession, Sr. Diana served the Lord with ardent joy and zeal as a dynamic Elementary school teacher and catechist in New Jersey, California, Louisiana, Colorado Springs, and Texas.

Sr. Diana was preceded in death by her parents and her sister. She is survived by one brother and her religious community, the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians (Salesian Sisters) and many friends who loved her dearly.
