Sister Elizabeth Ann Moran, SHSp died peacefully at her home, Holy Spirit Convent in San Antonio, Texas on June 10, 2021.  She was born in Monivea, County Galway, Ireland on September 20, 1931.  The daughter of Patrick Moran and Delia Gill Moran, Elizabeth Ann grew up in a most remarkable family.  Three of her brothers were Catholic priests and one of her sisters was a nun, in a different religious community.

In 1951, Elizabeth Ann left her beloved family in Ireland and braved the searing heat of Texas.  For over 50 years, she taught in Catholic elementary schools in Dallas, Houston and at Little Flower School in San Antonio and was happiest among the eager minds of 5 ^th and 6 ^th graders.

After her retirement from school, she volunteered as a Pastoral Minister at the Baptist Hospital in San Antonio.  Sister Elizabeth Ann is survived by her brother, Msgr. Peter Moran and her nieces and nephews and their families and her sisters in community.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at the Motherhouse and she will be interred in the congregational cemetery.
