Our beloved mother and grandma, Mrs. Socorro L. Govea went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, March 13, 2019 at the age of 89.  Mrs. Govea lived life to the fullest.  She loved to spend time with her family, barbeques, music and dancing.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 59 years, Robert A. Govea; a daughter, Gloria Ortiz and her sister, Josie Gonzalez.  She is survived by her daughters: Sylvia Govea, Hilda Govea (Rob), Sonya Govea (Yolanda); sister-in-law, Aurora Govea; grandchildren: Christopher, Amanda, Matthew, April, and Jonathan; numerous great-grandchildren.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin Sunday, March 17 ^th at 3:00 P.M. in

The Angelus Chapel

1119 N. St. Mary's St.

with a Rosary to be recited at 5:00 P.M.

Visitation will begin again on Monday, March 18 ^th at

9:00 A.M. at St. Dominic's Catholic Church

5919 Ingram Rd.

with a Funeral Mass to be offered at 10:00 A.M.

Interment will follow at

San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No.2.
