Socorro passed peacefully at home with her family by her side June 29, 2024 at the age of 91.

She is survived by her husband of 69 years Raul Gamboa Sr., daughter Sylvia Gamboa (Susan), son Raul Gamboa Jr. Sisters Victoria Salas, Alicia Perez, brother, Juan Francisco Perez; grandchildren Veronica, Joshua (Adriana) and Justine; and 7 great grandchildren.

Soccoro enjoyed sewing, crafts, jewelry making and tending to her plants. Her happy place was her front porch she shared with Raul and her beloved cat Sweetie.

We want to thank all the wonderful caregivers who provided her with compassionate care and grace. Altus Hospice Staff, Meals on Wheels for wellness checks, meals and support. And finally, Monica for her endless comforting care.
