Sr. Maria Guadalupe Gomez, FMA, age 93, passed away February 21, 2021 in San Antonio, TX.  She was born in Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Mexico.  Sister was preceded in death by her parents, Santiago G. Gomez and Guadalupe Arredondo, her four brothers and one Salesian Sister and is survived by one sister and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Sr. Guadalupe taught in our Elementary schools and as a catechist for 41 years in Raymondville, Laredo, and San Antonio, TX, in Arizona, California, and Louisiana. Sister was an avid reader who enjoyed reading studies on the potential of the Mexican-American woman and sharing historical religious, international, and world events.  She will be greatly missed by all she ministered to, her family, her providers, especially by her religious Sisters who loved her dearly.
