Sister Dolores Espinoza, a beloved member of the Society of St. Teresa of Jesus, peacefully entered into eternal rest after 64 years of dedicated religious life. A native of San Antonio, Texas, Sister Dolores was the youngest of five siblings and a proud alumna of St. Teresa's Academy.

Her life was defined by a deep compassion for the poor and a steadfast missionary spirit that led her to serve in California, Louisiana, Texas, and on a significant mission in the Philippines. With boundless energy, Sister Dolores devoted over 40 years to educating students in various Catholic schools.

She met life's challenges with resilience, viewing adversity with a sense of humor and treating it as just another aspect of daily life. Even in retirement, she continuously sought ways to share the compassion of Jesus with everyone she encountered, never missing an opportunity to offer comfort and joy.

A particularly poignant chapter in her ministry came after the tragic events of May 24, 2022, in Uvalde, Texas. Sister Dolores became a source of strength in the healing process, standing with the grieving families and helping them navigate the unthinkable pain of their loss.

In every place she served, Sister Dolores was cherished for her cheerfulness and joyful presence. She gave generously of herself, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, laughter, and steadfast faith.

May Sister Dolores Espinoza rest in the peace and love of the Lord, whom she served so faithfully.
