Mr. Saturnino M. Galdeano of San Antonio, Texas passed away on Friday, May 15, 2026 at the age of 86. He was born to Mr. Saturnino and Mrs. Maria Galdeano on January 2, 1940 in Cadereyta, Nuevo Leon, Mexico.
He grew up in a humble home filled with love and good values instilled in him. He was a dedicated professional Baker and family and friends always asked him to bake cakes for weddings and birthdays and he happily did it out of love most times not even charging them or very minimal.
He was always there for all of our family immediate and extended family. We will never forget the love he showed to everyone he met.
It's difficult to put into words the impact he had on our lives, because he was more than a father, grandfather, family member, and friend. He was a source of strength, love, wisdom, and comfort.Through every season of life, he showed us the importance of hard work, faith, perseverance, and caring for the people you love. He taught us lessons not only through his words, but through the way he lived his life each day.
One of the greatest gifts he gave us was his presence — the feeling that no matter what happened, we were never alone. His love for his family was steady and unwavering, and that love will continue to carry us forward even in his absence.
While our hearts are broken, we are also grateful. Grateful for the memories, the laughter, the stories, the guidance, and the time we were blessed to have with him.
He is survived by his wife, Maria Galdeano; children, Lillian Galdeano, Lorena Galdeano, Laura Galdeano, Luz M. Leyva, Julio & Jorge Galdeano, and Gabriel Galdeano; sisters, Manuela Galdeano-Gomez, Teresa Lopez and Guadalupe Galdeano; brother, Alejandro Galdeano; and numerous extended family members.
