Santiago (Jimmie) Acosta passed away on Saturday, November 4, 2023 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease. Jimmie passed peacefully with his wife Emma by his side. He was preceded in death by his parents Miguel and Octavia Acosta, brothers, Mike Acosta, Sonny Acosta, and sister, Irma Miller.

Born August 8, 1948, a San Antonio native from the West side, Jimmie was very proud of his roots. Jimmie worked for Southwestern Bell/AT&T, retired after 35 years, and made many friends along the way.

Jimmie loved music, playing his guitar, dancing, hanging out with his friends and cherished his brothers and sisters.

Jimmie is survived by his wife of 49 years, Emma, sons James, Jacob, Jimmy, Andre, Andre Jr. & daughter Monica, 17 grandkids: Alicia, Xavier, Jacob, Alan, Mark, Gabriel, Bobby, Johnny, Michael, Victoria, Olivia, Little Andre, Christian, Julianna, Andrea, Jayden, Alexis, & Liam and 12 great-grandkids

FUNERAL SERVICES

Monday, November 13, 2023

Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. in The Angelus Chapel

with a Celebration of Life service to be held at 7:00 pm.

Tuesday, November 14, 2023

Funeral Mass will be offered at 10:00 am at

Sacred Heart Catholic Church located at W. Houston St. & N. Trinity.

Services will conclude at the church.
