It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rose L. Garcia, our loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend.  Rose passed away on Wednesday, May 27, 2026, at the age of 79.

Rose was a loving, caring, and compassionate woman whose faith guided every aspect of her life. Strong in her devotion to God, she always put the needs of others before her own and touched countless lives through her kindness, generosity, and servant's heart.  Rose was well known throughout the community for her dedication to helping others and her involvement in fundraising efforts for numerous political leaders as well as the Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower.  Her faith was especially reflected in her deep love and support for the Basilica, which held a special place in her heart throughout her life.

She was reunited in Heaven with her beloved husband, Henry F. Garcia, her parents, Felix and Louisa M. Lozano, and her brother, Henry Lozano. She is survived by her children, John Henry Garcia and wife Cynthia Garcia; daughter, Rebecca Garcia Harris and husband Steve Harris; along with her grandchildren, Brianna Rose, Faith, Sean Henry, Joseph, and Shane; brothers, Felix (Blanche), Jesse, Ernest (Lucy); sister-in-law Sylvia; as well as nieces, nephews, extended family, and many dear friends.

Visitation will begin Monday, June 1, 2026, at 5 p.m. in the Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 pm.  Funeral Mass will be offered Tuesday, June 2, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at St. Matthew's Catholic Church.  Interment will follow at San Fernando Cemetery #2.
