Rosa Monroy Stasney was born February 19, 1940 in Lima Peru and entered God's holy presence on April 7, 2022.  She was preceded in death by parents Humberto and Florencia Angulo-Barr, brother Humberto and sister Hortencia. She is survived by her sister Charro of Lima, her children Audra (husband Kelly Kerr), Jennifer (husband Lance Benes), Leslie (husband Kelly Mahan), Pamela Stasney and grandchildren Frank Harrison, Samuel, Hayden and Ashley.

All who knew Rosa appreciated her enthusiasm, zest for life and her willingness to see the best in others.   She lived by faith, was a force of positivity and a giver in the truest sense of the word.  After raising her daughters, she became a teacher and completed her master's degree in Spain at the University of Salamanca.  Rosa spoke five languages, loved learning and teaching others. Her wisdom, guidance and love will be missed by many.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Her funeral will be Tuesday, April 19 ^th ,

Rosary recited at 10:00 am followed by Funeral Mass at 10:30 am

at St. Anthony de Padua Catholic Church, San Antonio

where one of her best friends is helping Ukrainian refugees and Rosa was supporting her efforts.
