Rosa Maria Ortiz our beloved mother, was called home to be with our Heavenly Father on December 20, at the age of 82.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 52 years Alfredo Ortiz and is survived by her daughters, Yolanda Gonzales; Nora Moncavias and her husband Pedro; Marisol Garza and her husband Jesus; son, Cruz Ortiz and his wife Elizabeth, all of San Antonio; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

We honor the legacy of our beloved mother, a Faithful Servant. Her legacy of strength, love, compassion, grace and dedication, all of whom she instilled in us. She lived life demonstrating her unwavering faith in God and the love of our Lord Savior. She was a prayer warrior. Throughout her life, Rosa was active in church, where she attended weekly prayer and Sunday services.  Her gentle spirit encouraged those around her that Jesus Christ was the way, the truth, and the life.

Serving as Pallbearers will be:  Cruz Ortiz, Cruz Ortiz Jr., Joshua Ortiz, Justin Hettler, Christopher Hettler and Adrian Garza.
