Ronald D. Luna age 46 of San Antonio, died on May 29, 2016. He was preceded in death by his father, Mario H. Luna and nephew, Charles Eric Luna. He is survived by his mother Gloria D. Luna; companion, Lisette Rodriguez; children, Raquel Luna, Nayah Nicole Luna, and Adrianna Lisette Luna; sister Gloria L. Gonzales; brother, Mario C. Luna and wife, Yvette; nephews and nieces, Mario A. Luna, Alexandra Mari Luna-Gonzales, Vincent C. Luna-Gonzales, and ChristiAna Marie Luna.
Ronnie had a deep passion for music, motorcycle road racing, family, and his Spurs. Like all of his friends on Shadwell, they were rock stars in the making-riding the bus to a local music store, putting guitars on lay-away, fulfilling their dreams. He lived his life in the fast lane, bringing his trophies for motorcycle racing home to his mom.
Ronnie traded his early wants and dreams to live a life with his three beautiful girls while, at the same time, battling diabetes. He cheered them on as they played soccer, volleyball, and dance team. Spurs game nights were special for him and his mom. The family shared dinner together and helped him cheer on his team. He had a love/hate relationship with the Spurs-He loved when they were playing well and winning but hated it when they lost. He spent many hours each day with his mother, sharing deep conversations and silly jokes, making repairs and modification to the house, and caring for their pets. He was a good friend to many, cooking for everyone who came to visit, fixing a motorcycle, or installing ceiling fans and light fixtures. As an uncle and brother, Ronnie was always there for his family. He will be missed by all of us.
