Roberto Paniagua Menchaca was called to be with the Lord on Friday, February 18, 2022, at the age of 91. He lived a beautiful life graduating from Lanier High School, joined the Air Force, was a member of the Plumbers and Pipefitters Local Union No. 142, and coached many children whose lives he greatly impacted. He had a remarkable sense of humor and always took the time to thank others for what they did for him. He loved watching sports or simply being with family and friends. Menchaca was a humble, kind-hearted person and will be missed by all.

He was preceded in death by his father, mother Matilde, son Rene, brother Carlos Paniagua Menchaca, and sister Teofila Acosta. He is survived by his loving wife of 66 years, Madeline, sons Robert and wife Jo Carol, Roger and wife Jamie, daughter-in-law Amparo; grandchildren Michelle, Lisa, Melanie, Julia, AJ Reygadas; great-granddaughter Haley Vallejo. He was also well loved by grandchildren: Christian, Audrina, Brielle and numerous nieces and nephews.

A funeral procession will depart The Angelus Funeral Home at 9:30 AM

followed by 10:00 AM mass at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church.

Interment will follow at the San Fernando Cemetery No. 2
