Richard Anthony Ramirez, age 48 of San Antonio, Texas entered eternal rest on Tuesday, December 18, 2018.  Richard was a Registered Nurse over the course of 20 plus years, specializing in Cardiac Cath Lab, special procedures, and most recently in a Vascular Center.  His focus was always caring and serving others in need.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Jose and Antonia Gonzales and Baldemar and Alicia Ramirez; niece, Audrey Simpkins.  Richard is survived by his wife of 23 years, Diana Ramirez; daughters: Gabriela, Isabelle, and son, Joshua Ramirez; mother, Hope Sloan; father and step-mother, Hector and Connie Ramirez; brother, Michael Ramirez; sisters: Jeanette and Celina Ramirez, and his loving in-laws, Mr. and Mrs. Joe T. Borrego; brother and sister-in-law, Joseph and Stella Borrego; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and nieces.

Richard was our anchor and protector.  His passion was his family and service to others.  You were and will always be the fundamental part of our lives.  The responsibility, hard work, values, wisdom and morals you carried will be instilled in all who loved and knew you.  Richard will always be remembered for his strength and dedication and love of family.

Rest in Peace our beloved Richard, we will love and miss you

and you will NEVER be forgotten.
