Mr. Richard Puente passed away on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at the age of 90.  Richard was retired after many years of service with the U.S. Air Force and U.S. Postal Service.  He was a member of the Knights of Columbus #8302 at St. John the Evangelist and a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church.  He enjoyed barbecuing with his nephews and lived to golf, but above all else, he loved his family.

Richard was preceded in death by a son, Roderick Puente and is survived by his wife, Connie Puente; children: Gladys Puente and Rodney Puente; brother, Jesse Puente; numerous nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin Wednesday, November 20 at 6:00 P.M. in The Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral Mass will be offered Thursday, November 21 at 9:00 A.M. at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 3107 N. St. Mary's St.  Interment will follow at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
