On April 11, 2017, surrounded by family and prayer, Reuben C. Perez, age 54 was called home.  He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnnie and Dalia Perez. Survivors include very dear friend Karen Quirk and their son Reuben Daniel Perez. He is also survived by his daughter Julia Perez; siblings, Jesse Perez (Susie), Yolanda Quintero (Marcelo), Diana Martinez (Sylvester), Dora Weddel, John Perez (Ann), Rosalinda Bagg (John); aunt Olivia Flores, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins who will all miss him dearly.

Reuben was previously employed for 33 years at H-E-B and his picture would sometimes be spotted on the delivery truck throughout the city. Reuben enjoyed listening to music and fishing trips but his devotion was spending time with family. Although Reuben himself was quiet, his kindness was deafening. His presence will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him because he had a beautiful heart and soul that touched many. We are comforted to know that he has been greeted in Heaven with open arms by his parents and our Lord Jesus Christ.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin Tuesday at 5:00 P.M.
in The Angelus Chapel with a
Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M.

Funeral procession will depart the
funeral home Wednesday at 8:15 A.M.
for a Funeral Mass to begin at 9:00 A.M. at
St. Jude Catholic Church

Interment will follow at
San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No.2
