Rebecca Rios entered eternal rest on January 13, 2021 at the age of 62 years old. She was born on October 2, 1958 in San Antonio Texas. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Daniel and Rosa Sedillo; sister Alma Alvarado and brother Maurice Sedillo.

She is survived by her loving husband of 47 years Ralph Rios Jr., her pride and joy of sons, Maurice Ríos, John Daniel Ríos, and Ralph Ríos III. Two granddaughters Faith and Selina Ríos and Four grandsons Adrian, Lorenzo, Michael, and Zach Ríos. Her sisters and brother who she loved dearly, Azalea Villarreal, Rosemary Sedillo, and Daniel Sedillo, Jr.

Rebecca was devout in her faith and a protector to those she love the most.  She held a career in the banking industry for over 27yrs, tirelessly working to help provide for her family.  Her spit fire personality definitely resonated with all that knew her.  A mouth would never go unfed and a tummy hungry in her home, as she happily welcomed many friends.  Rebecca valued family and time with her sons like a true momma bear. Weather a football game, band concert, dance performance, drag show, a huge breakfast or a giant helping of Arroz con pollo at the table.  Her love for her family was like no other and her support and pride for anything her sons did was unparallel.  Over the years Rebecca displayed much strength to fight and live and that was undeniable.  We know she is looking down and watching over us, truly enjoying a saspirilla with her sister Alma.  Although your wings were ready, our hearts simply were not.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, January 19, at 5:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 6:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel – chapel capacity 75 persons.

Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, January 20, at 9:00 A.M. at Resurrection of the Lord Catholic Church – church capacity 90 persons.  Interment will follow in First Memorial Park.
