On February 27, 2015 Raymond M. Rodriguez was welcomed into the Kingdom of Heaven. He was born in Hearne, Texas on March 11, 1937 to Bacilio and Elvira Rodriguez. He will join in Heaven his parents, his beloved son, Raymond Rodriguez Jr., granddaughter, Jessica Rodriguez and great-granddaughter, Kaylee Flores. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Olga Rodriguez; daughter, Elvira Alonzo (Hector); son, Eddie Rodriguez (Genevieve) and daughter-in-law, Norma Gil; 4 brothers and 3 sisters; grandchildren: David Jon Macias (Monica), Marcos Alonzo, Elida Canales, Kristian Ray Alonzo (Alyssa), Heather Rodriguez and Jaiden Ray Rodriguez; great-grandchildren: Sara Alonzo, Alisha Canales, Alanis Macias, Jacob Alonzo, Renesmee Santiago and Sophie Rae Alonzo; nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law. Raymond was a friendly, fun loving and caring person to everyone he met. His motivation and determination allowed him to be promoted from busboy, waiter, captain and finally Maitre D at the famed and historical St. Anthony Hotel where he was employed for 43 years. FUNERAL SERVICES Visitation will begin Tuesday at 4:00 P.M. in The Angelus Chapel with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. Funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday at 9:00 A.M. at St. Joseph's Catholic Church-Downtown. Interment will follow in San Jose Burial Park. The family wishes to express their sincerest gratitude to the staff at Fresenius Dialysis for the care and medical attention provided to Raymond during the last 10 years.
