Mr. Raymond Eleazar Casillas passed away Sunday, November 14, 2021 at the age of 85.  Raymond attended Central Catholic High School and St. Mary's University.  He received a Master's Degree in Education from Our Lady of the Lake University.  He spent his entire career in teaching and school administration and most notably was a past principal at Las Palmas Elementary.

Raymond was a lifelong Catholic and served the community as a Subdeacon at St. George Maronite Catholic Church and as a Prison Chaplain at the John B. Connally Unit in Kenedy,TX.  Raymond was a parishioner at St. Brigid's Catholic Church.  He enjoyed traveling and was a Master Gardener.

Mr. Casillas is survived by his wife, Alicia G. Casillas; sister, Zoila R. Casillas; niece, Raquel Grimm; great-nephew, Max Grimm; brothers-in-law: Mario Garza and Cruz Garza; numerous other nieces and nephews.
