Ramon Rodriguez Jr. passed away peacefully on January 26th surrounded by his loving family. He was a tough, resilient man who worked hard into his late 70's. Ramon was an entrepreneur at heart and owned local Mexican restaurants including Martha's Cafe. Later, he worked construction then started his own cement laying business. But what he will be remembered for most was his generosity, compassion, and unfailing optimism. Despite poor health, he greeted everyone with a smile and an "I'm doing great!"
He is survived by his first wife, Elisa Guerrero, their son Michael, daughters Elsa (George), Elizabeth, Maria Elena (William), and Cynthia and 3 grandchildren Sarah, Anna and Warren, who will miss their Papo deeply. He is also survived by his wife Graciela Olguin, step children Alicia (Miguel), Arturo, two dear step grandchildren Daniel and Kaylie, and many more who loved him.
We will miss his gentle, calm way and will smile when we think of him in his green truck, cowboy hat and boots, walking slow and steady up the driveway.
Rest in Peace my sweet father.
Join us to say goodbye.
