Rachel Hernandez Hahn was a lifelong resident of San Antonio. She was a graduate of Blessed Sacrament High School and worked with her father in their family grocery store business. It was there that she met the love of her life William T. Hahn and married him after a brief courtship at St. Michael's Catholic Church. Rachel loved her career as bakery manager for many years at the Handy Andy grocery store. She then went on to work at the Little Red Barn Steak House, a family owned business started by her father Arturo Hernandez.
She enjoyed playing bunco with her dear friends of 60 plus years. She loved gardening, reading, puzzle books and weekly Friday night prayer meetings with Fr. Ralph and their dear friends the De La Rosa's. Most importantly, she loved family, friends and we loved her. We will miss you dearly Mom, rest in peace.
P.S. Give dad a hug for us!
