Patricio (Pat) H. Rodriguez, age 84 of San Antonio, peacefully entered the Kingdom of Heaven on Wednesday, November 28, 2018.  He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather and friend.  Pat was born in San Antonio, May 4, 1934 to Martina Hinojosa and Juan Rodriguez, the fourth of six children.  He proudly served in the U.S. Army and dedicated 25 years with the Texas National Guard, retiring with the rank of Master Sergeant.  Pat continued his service while working at Kelly Air Force Base as a civil engineer until his retirement.  He enjoyed fishing, traveling, the Cowboys, and spending time with his loving family over a good meal.

Patricio was preceded in death by his wife of 58 years, Victoria Rodriguez; daughter, Mary Esther Rodriguez, 2 brothers, and 1 sister.

He is survived by his son, Ruben Rodriguez and his wife, Juana; daughter, Annette (Rodriguez) Travers and husband, Roy; and the 5 biggest joys in his life, his grandchildren: Amanda, Marissa, Kaitlin, Vincent and Elizabeth; sister, Elsa Castillo and brother, Ramiro Rodriguez.

FUNERAL SERVICES:

Visitation will begin Tuesday, December 4 at 5:00pm

with a Rosary at 7:00pm at The Angelus Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday, December 5, at 8:00 a.m. at

St. James the Apostle Catholic Church.

Interment to follow in

Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery with military honors.
