Patricia M. Pastrano, age 70 from San Antonio, TX, passed away on November 24, 2022 after a battle with cancer and cirrhosis of the liver.
Patsy as she was known by her family and friends, was born on September 21, 1952 to Jesus and Maria Del Carmen Martinez in Mexico City. After Patsy graduated from St. Francis Academy in 1970, she went on to study Industrial Engineering at the University of Houston.
Upon graduating with an Industrial Engineering degree, she began her career at Southwestern Bell in their management-training program as an engineer in the repair department spanning a twenty-year career.
In 1968 she met Henry Pastrano at a neighborhood house mass. They became high school sweethearts and married in 1975. Patsy and Henry went on to have two children and as Patsy always used to say "I have a favorite son and a favorite daughter" – Jason and Jackie.
In 1996 Patsy retired and spent her time enjoying watching Jackie play sports, visiting Jason at Texas A&M, and fishing with her husband. Later Patsy spent her time preparing food for family gatherings, watching her grandkids' sporting events and dance recitals, traveling with Henry, and time with their Church family.
Patsy was preceded in death by her parents Maria Del Carmen Martinez and Jesus Martinez, sister Esther Arias, and brother Jesse Martinez.
She is survived by her sister Carmen Martinez and brother George Martinez; along with her spouse Henry; two children Jason Pastrano with his wife Claudia, Jacqueline Aguilar and her husband Miguel; grandchildren Olivia, Adam, Santiago, Ruben, Maggie Carmela, Roslyn, Enrique, Luz, and Emiliana.
