Patricia Ann Cortez passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 7, 2026 at the age of 65.  Pat was a 1979 graduate of Memorial High School and went on to receive an Associates of Accounting from San Antonio College.  She worked for VSP Insurance Company (Vision Works) for over 29 years.  She was a fan of the San Antonio Spurs and enjoyed sitting in the stands watching the San Antonio Missions play.  Pat was also a fan of all things Hello Kitty and she loved the beach.  She and her husband Larry looked forward to their annual trips to Corpus Christi, especially to celebrate their anniversary.

Pat was preceded in death by her parents and 2 brothers.  She is survived by her husband of 28 years, Larry Cortez and by a niece and nephew; numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
