Beloved woman of God, mother, grandmother, great grandmother who held each one of us in her heart and loved us all in every way.
Olga Galan Muñoz peacefully passed away on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at the age of 81. She was preceded in death by her parents Henry and Elvira, brothers, Henry Jr., Richard, Johnny, and her sister, Jesusita; She is survived by her brothers: Andrew and Michael (Yvonne); her children: Michele Garcia (Joe), Samuel, James (Laura), and Larry (Pat); in addition to her eight grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Olga was retired from the San Antonio Independent School District after many years in the food service department at the Rodriguez Elementary School. Having graduated from Lanier High School in 1957, Olga would continue to reside in the Westside until her passing.
Olga known to everyone by Gogi was a very humorous person she enjoyed making you laugh. She was a very kind and giving person. If you were ever in need, she would be there to help in the best way she could. She loved to listen to music, sing and dance. She was always with her brother Andy and Sister Susie, she enjoyed shopping and going out to eat with them. Her neighbors for many years loved her dearly and always included her in their family gatherings. Our mother was an angel on earth and touched the hearts of everyone who knew her. She will be missed dearly, and she will never be forgotten.
My deepest thank you to Lacresha Burton from "The Heart of Texas Hospice" for being so gentle and caring to our mother.
