Ofelia M. Zepeda, a beautiful and compassionate Mom, grandmother, great-grandmother, and aunt was born on September 12, 1929 and passed away Thursday, June 12, 2014 at the age of 84. She was preceded in death by her husband, Noe G. Zepeda, Sr. and 13 siblings. She is survived by her children, Ernestine Encino, son-in-law Ruben S. Encino, Sylvia Soto, son-in-law William Soto, Noe G. Zepeda Jr., Richard Zepeda, daughter-in-law Diana Zepeda; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank the staff and friends she made at the "Heights on Huebner". Visitation will begin on Monday, June 16, at 5:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel. Funeral Mass will be offered on Tuesday, June 17, at 11:00 A.M. at Holy Rosary Catholic Church. Interment will follow in San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery #2.
