Nereida De La Fuente went to be with the Lord in the late evening of Monday, January 4th.  She was 55.  In 1965, she was born in San Antonio, Texas as the only daughter and youngest of 5 children in the family.

In life, she appreciated all genres of music, visual art and artifacts of Indigenous Peoples, arts & crafts, tinkering in her garage, being outdoors, driving her Jeep and most importantly - enjoying time with family.

Nereida is survived by her older brothers Ricardo De La Fuente of Ellensburg, WA and Miguel De La Fuente, Sr. (Caroline) of San Antonio, Texas, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, tios, tias, cousins, extended family members and friends. She also left behind her pet cats, Baby & Chiquita, and her dearest dog, Indiana.

She was preceded in death by her father, Reynaldo De La Fuente; beloved mother, Maria R. Leon and brothers Ismael and Roberto De La Fuente.

PRIVATE  FUNERAL  SERVICES

A private familial visitation will be held on January 20th followed by a private graveside gathering at Holy Cross Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her beloved Tia Anna Maria Realme who also recently passed.
