On Thursday, January 13th 2022, Monica Perez Trejo, loving mother, sister, and friend, was called home to be with the Lord at the age of 49.  She was born March 20th 1972 in San Antonio, Texas to mother Eloise Perez and father Rogelio Tamez Perez.

Though she spent many of her years as a stay at home mother, her passion for cooking and childcare led her to a career in cafeteria food service with the Judson Independent School District. Monica possessed the uncanny ability to view life in a positive manner despite any obstacles she was faced with. She never failed to greet everyone she met with warmth and a smile. Throughout her life she was undoubtedly a woman of strength and devotion who was headstrong in her beliefs.

She was preceded in death by her mother, father and brother David. She is leaving behind her daughter, many siblings, and a multitude of nieces, and nephews who all miss her dearly.
