Mr. Moises "Moy" Barrera of San Antonio entered peacefully into eternal rest on Wednesday July 5, 2017 at the age of 80 in San Antonio, Texas. Born on October 19th, 1936, Mr. Barrera dedicated his life to his family, both immediate and extended. A dedicated Spurs fan, he enjoyed watching their games, and he was a lover of baseball as well. In both work and at home he brought his talents for fixing and creating things to various projects over the years.

Mr. Barrera was preceded in death by his parents, Rosendo Barrera Cantu and Isidora Hernandez de Barrera, and his loving wife, Maria De Los Angeles Medellin De Barrera.  A marriage of 45 years created a legacy of love as he is survived by their children Maria Teresa Bayoumi and husband Atef, son Moses Barrera and wife Laura, son Sergio Barrera and wife Jen, son Roberto Barrera and fiancé Jeannie Ramirez, Melba Rebeca Chylinski and husband Daren, Marcela Summerville and husband Edward, 12 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild;  nephews Juan Carlos Sandoval, Arturo Barrera, and niece Coco De La Torre, their families and a vast extended family of nephews, nieces, and cousins in his beloved home country of Mexico.
