Minerva F. Guardiola was called to be with the Lord on June 3, 2021 at the age of 91. She is survived by her sister, Alice Cheaney and numerous nieces and nephews and their children, as well as God children who she loved dearly.  She is preceded in death by her parents, Josefa Rodriguez Fuentes, and Juan Perez Fuentes, including her brother, Fernando Fuentes.  She is also preceded in death by her husband, Arnulfo Guardiola, the love of her life.

All who met her could feel comfortable calling her "Aunt Minnie", as she was always kind and treated everyone with love, compassion, and the most gracious respect.  Her loving, joyful and gentle spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Visitation will begin on Tuesday, June 8 ^th at 5 p.m. with a Rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. at the Angelus Chapel.  Funeral Mass will be offered Wednesday, June 9 ^th at 10 a.m. at Basilica of the National Shrine of the Little Flower.  Interment will follow in San Fernando Cemetery #2.
