Melinda Ann Casarez age 50 of San Antonio passed away on Thursday, April 23, 2015. Melinda was a faithful servant to our Lord and was an active member of St. Matthew's Catholic Church. She was involved with her ACTS community and currently serving on CORE. She was employed with DPS. She was a member of DPSOA. She is survived by her sons, Jacob O. Rincon and Christian J. Rincon; parents, Carlos and Florence Casarez; sister, Sylvia Valle (Carlos); brother, Charlie Casarez (Patricia); niece, Elena Hammel; and nephews, Carlos Mendez, Scott Hammel, Charles Casarez II, and Noah Casarez. She will be remembered by her family and friends for her smile, her laugh and most of all her generosity. Visitation will begin on Thursday, April 30 at 6:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at St. Paul's Catholic Church. Funeral Mass will be offered on Friday, May 1, at 1:30 P.M. at St. Matthew's Catholic Church. Interment will follow in Resurrection Cemetery.
