Melchor George Cavazos, of Houston, TX passed away the morning of September 3, 2018 at the age of 34. He was born on August 12, 1984 to George Cavazos and Diana Cuellar in San Antonio, TX.
Mel was high-spirited, easy going and the life and laugh of every party. Being around his friends and family, which he cherished, was his favorite part of life. He was loved by so many people. He had a heart of gold and was so humble. He was firm believer in speaking his mind and doing what's right. He was our protector.
Mel was very dedicated to his passion of music. He established his music knowledge into his company and was the CEO of Vision Music Entertainment based in Houston, TX. He believed in people to pursue their passion of singing and he would be their moral support throughout the process. He dedicated all of his heart and time to make sure the person had a foot in the music industry.
Besides being an entrepreneur, his other passion and the love of his life was being a father to his only son, Isaiah Melchor Cavazos. He taught his son from having good manners to teaching him to be a good fisherman to just being a kid and having fun. Mel embraced fatherhood naturally and he cherished every minute with his son.
Mel was a jack of all trades; he was a collector of hats and shoes. He was a barber. He was a good cook. He loved fishing. He would greet his little cousins or anyone in his path with a wrestler move or a little love shove or a stern, tight hug. He will be dearly missed by everyone and he will never be forgotten.
Mel is survived by his son, Isaiah Melchor Cavazos of San Antonio, TX; mother, Diana of Houston, TX; father, George Cavazos of San Antonio, TX; sister, Missy Moquette (Harry) of Houston, TX; brother, Anibal Roman Jr of Houston, TX; partner, Jessette Cavazos of Houston, TX; stepchildren, Alexandra Martinez, Ruben Martinez, Alexis Martinez, and Adriana Martinez; nieces, Yasmine Mosquera, Valentina Moquette, and Juliana Roman; nephews, Maiko Mosquera, Ray Martinez, Hadrian Roman, Joseph Roman, and Nathan Roman; aunts, May E.
