Maurilio "Milo" L. Rodriguez entered eternal peace on February 7, 2020 at the age of 89, after a brief illness.
He is survived by his wife, Oralia R. Rodriguez, daughters, Patricia Rodriguez, Josephine Abrego, and Rosalinda Juettemeyer (Bernard) and sister, Consuleo "Connie" Rivera, as well as six grandsons, two granddaughters, eight great-grandsons, nine great-granddaughters and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Maurilio and Josefina, and his sisters Margarita "Margie" Vidal, Maria Rosa "Rosie" Sandoval, and Josefina "Josie" Calvillo.
Milo was a skilled wood craftsman who worked at Dee Howard for many years as an aircraft installer. After retiring, he spent his time looking after his home and family and watching the University of Texas Longhorns and the Spurs. He loved cooking, especially for his grandchildren for whom he often grilled. He was a spiritual man and was happy when family members joined him for 8 AM mass at Blessed Sacrament Church. He took pride in his family's accomplishments and never missed a chance to tell them how proud of them he was.
Milo was a fun-loving husband, father and grandfather. He will be profoundly missed by his family, but they take comfort in knowing that he is at peace and with God. God bless you and good luck, dad. Until we meet again.
