Mary Rachel Garcia went to be with our Lord on Saturday, July 15, 2017.

Mrs. Garcia was a longtime parishioner of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church where she was a member of the Altar Society. She was very community minded, active in the Fiesta Flambeau organization. She was a great contributor to the Silver Buffalos, Tech High School Reunion organization. One of her greatest passions was working with the scholarship program. She also enjoyed volunteering with the Young People Symphony at the Tobin Cultural Center.

She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and a cherished grandma. She had an adventurous spirit and enjoyed going on family vacations and spending time at the casinos.

Mrs. Garcia was preceded in death by her parents, Tomas and Luz Salazar; son, Frank Edward Garcia; sisters, Yolanda and Nena; brothers, Refugio, Tomas, Robert, Miguel, Salvador and Abelado.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Francisco Garcia Jr; son, Frank Arnold Garcia, daughter in laws Blanca Garcia and Sylvia Garcia; sister Irasema Guillen; grandchildren, Priscilla, Franchesca and Veronica; great grandchildren, Mila, Penelope, Francisco, Elias, Leilani, Lawrence, Joseph, Steven and Roland; great great granddaughter, Eden and numerous nieces and nephews.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Visitation will begin on Wednesday, July 19, at 5:00 P.M.

with a Rosary to be recited at 7:00 P.M. at the Angelus Chapel.

Funeral Mass will be offered on Thursday, July 20,

at 10:00 A.M. at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church.

Interment will follow in San Fernando Archdiocesan Cemetery No. 2.
