Mary Rita Partlow, 92 of San Antonio passed away on Sunday August 25th.  She was born in San Antonio on December 14, 1931 to John and Cecile Partlow. She is survived by her brother, John Partlow, nephews: John L. Partlow, Todd Partlow, and nieces: Stefani Allen and Kelly Partlow.

She attended St. Gerard Elementary and High School, graduating in 1949.  She received a B.MUS from Our Lady of the Lake College in 1953, and a Master's in Piano Performance from De Paul University in 1956, and continued her studies in Piano and composition until her death.  She retired from teaching from Birmingham, Michigan, and returned home to San Antonio in 1994, where she became artist-in-residence and the pianist-in-residence at OLLU.  Mary loved to teach piano and watching her student's talents grow.
