Mary Louise (Appleby) Dwyer of San Antonio, TX passed away on September 13, 2022 . Mary Lou had a great life, growing up riding horses in the Texas hill country, and then raising six sons and a daughter while using her accounting skills to serve her church.

Mary Lou was born on May 6, 1935 in San Antonio.  She is preceded in death by her husband Samuel J. Dwyer III, daughter Elizabeth Marie Dwyer and son Michael Anthony Dwyer.  She is survived by sons Samuel Dwyer IV, Stephen Dwyer, Paul Dwyer, David Dwyer, Richard Dwyer and daughter Donna Phillips. 18 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be Sunday, September 18, at the Angelus Chapel, 1119 N. St. Mary's St. from 4:00-5:00pm. Rosary will be recited at 5:00pm.

Funeral Mass will be offered on Monday, September 19, at 10:00am at Our Lady of Grace Catholic Church, 223 E. Summit Ave in San Antonio.  The church where Mary Lou and Sam were married in 1953.

Interment will be at San Fernando Cemetery II.  She will be laid to rest alongside many family members.

Mary Lou was a lifelong supporter of St. Jude Hospital , Memphis, TN and St. Jude's Ranch for Children , Bulverde, TX.  She has encouraged her children to continue her generosity and asks in lieu of flowers, that contributions be sent to either charity.
