Mary Grace Guido, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, died Monday, October 6, 2014 at the age of 80, following a lengthy illness with cancer. She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Charlie Guido, her parents, Michael and Katherine Venincasa, and her brother, Joe Venincasa. She is survived by her daughter, Julie Ann Guido of San Antonio, grandson, Noah Guido, brother, Louis Venincasa of Dallas, and many loving family members and friends. Mary or "Cookie" as she was known by her family and friends loved flowers and gardening. She enjoyed her time with close friends and family members, playing cards, and trips to "Vegas"! The loves of her life, her daughter and grandson, was what she was most proud of. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Friday, October 10, at 10:00 A.M. at San Francesco di Paola Catholic Church. The family would like to thank the nursing and rehabilitation staff at Coronado at Stone Oak Continuing Care and the precious care given to Mary by Heart to Heart Hospice.
