Marie Obregon Garcia

Marie has gone to heaven to join her husband of 58 years, Guadalupe G. Garcia; her parents, Manuela and Jose E. Obregon; 15 siblings and her great-granddaughter, Klover Marie.

Marie was the youngest of 16 children. She graduated from Dilley High School and attended Draughon's College here in San Antonio. After completing Draughton's College she met and married the love of her life, Guadalupe and upon moving to San Antonio she was hired at Sunshine Pecan Company by the co-founder, Mr. William B. Martin where she stayed as his personal assistant for 45 years. After retirement both Marie and Lupe enjoyed their life together in Lytle in their little ranch. They hosted New Year's Eve, Easter and other holidays making them all memorable to family and friends. We will miss the memories she shared as a young lady growing up in hard times but thankful we've had her this long to create our own memories that we will always have.

She leaves behind with a broken heart her daughter, Melinda G. Wiggins; granddaughter, Kasey Wiggins; nieces and nephews and godchildren.

Our sincerest thanks to Trinity Hospice for all their care and comfort they brought to Marie and the family. A special thank you to her personal caregivers, Beatrice Cano and Nelly Cruz for loving her as much as we do.
