Marie Concepta Barbosa Prince, nee Adams, died Monday, July 2nd, surrounded by her loved ones. Born July 31st, 1951, in Dublin, Ireland, to John Joseph Adams, Sr., and Maria Frances Cleary, she immigrated to Chicago, Illinois, at the age of five with her parents and siblings.

Marie was the beloved wife of Manuel Barbosa Prince, Sr., and the two celebrated their 44th wedding anniversary on June 29th.  She enjoyed gardening, making candles, and spending time with her family and pets.

Marie was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Ann Adams Clarke (Michael); and two brothers, Sean Adams and John Joseph Adams, Jr.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Manuel; children, Valerie, of Dublin, Ireland, and Anne-Marie, Colleen, and Manuel Barbosa Prince, Junior, of San Antonio; brother, Maurice D. Adams (Anne Groark), of Chicago; and her adored niece, Anne-Marie Adams, also of Chicago.  Many dear family members still live in Ireland and England, and will greatly miss the cousin nicknamed "Bella" as a child, by her father.

FUNERAL SERVICES

Viewing will be Friday, July 6th, at 5pm at
The Angelus Funeral Home with rosary recited at 7pm.

Funeral Mass will be offered Saturday, July 7th, at 9:30am,
at St. Henry's Catholic Church,
followed by procession to
San Fernando Cemetery #2 for burial.
