June 13, 1957 – February 22, 2021

Maria Teresa Zamarripa was called home to the Lord on February 22, 2021, at the age of 63.  She was born and raised in San Antonio, TX on June 13, 1957.

Teresa was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.  Her passion was spending quality time with her children and grandchildren.  She loved the beach and enjoyed her summer beach trips with family.  Teresa enjoyed family BBQ's, loved her "sweet tea" and occasional meals from all her favorite restaurants.  She loved cooking for her family and made some of the best salsa.  One of her hobbies was to work in the garden which was full of her favorite plants and flowers.  She loved to shop at her favorite store, Walmart, and was an avid homemaker, a loyal fan of the San Antonio Spurs and Dallas Cowboys.  Anyone who knew her loved her presence and infectious laugh.  She was always kind and loving in her own unique way amongst everyone.

Teresa was preceded in death by her mother; Socorro T. Vera, brother; Francisco Vera, Jr., she is survived by her loving husband of forty-four years, Louis Jr., Children; Louis Zamarripa III (Leticia), Laura M. Zamarripa (James) and Eric S. Zamarripa; her grandchildren whom she loved very much, Xavier and Dominic Zamarripa, Adrian Hill, and her furry grand pup Killa, as well as her father Francisco Vera Sr. (Andrea), sisters; Diana Vera, Maria (Lupe) Casanova, Esmeralda Provencher (Jason), brothers; Eduardo Vera,  Fernando Vera, Lorenzo Vera, Victor (Soledad) Vera.  Teresa is also survived by her beloved mother-n-law; Virginia M. Zamarripa, sister n laws, Diane L. Zamarripa (Moira), Linda Z. Moreno (Raul) and Brenda A. Zamarripa.  In addition to numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

She touched so many lives and will be dearly missed by all and will always be in our hearts.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, February 27, 2021 from 4:00pm to 5:00pm at Angelus Funeral Home.
